Hi, I'm Mark Stratford and I set up Stratford Productions in 2019 in order to present my solo shows.
First up was a revival of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde which I have adapted from the novella by Robert Louis Stevenson. It was staged for three sold-out performances at the Pump House Theatre & Arts Centre in Watford in February and March 2019.
In the following October, I presented the premiere of my one-man show Drama King at the Watford Palace Theatre Studio as part of the Watford Fringe. Drama King tells the story of the 19th Century actor-manager, Macready.
As an actor I've appeared in West End shows, national and foreign tours, repertory seasons and pantomimes, as well as small parts in Film, TV and Radio.
I'm in the process of arranging to perform both 'Jekyll & Hyde' and Drama King at this year's Watford and Brighton* Fringes in October - Covid-19 allowing.
*Moved from May due to coronavirus
Plans are also being put in place to tour both shows to venues around the UK in 2021 and beyond.
