Hi, I'm Mark Stratford and I set up Stratford Productions in 2019 in order to present my solo shows.
First up was a revival of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde which I have adapted from the novella by Robert Louis Stevenson. It was staged for three sold-out performances at the Pump House Theatre & Arts Centre in Watford in February and March 2019.
In the following October, I presented the premiere of my one-man show Drama King at the Watford Palace Theatre Studio as part of the Watford Fringe. Drama King tells the story of the 19th Century actor-manager, Macready.
As an actor I've appeared in West End shows, national and foreign tours, repertory seasons and pantomimes, as well as small parts in Film, TV and Radio.
Next up I will be performing Drama King at the Watford and Brighton* Fringes in October 2020 and Jekyll & Hyde at the Brighton Fringe in May 2021.
*Moved from May due to coronavirus
The plan - coronavirus allowing - is to then tour both shows to venues around the UK in 2021 and beyond.
